Shawna N. Fitzpatrick is an eclectic designer and artist working with illustrator and photoshop. She studied Costume and Fashion Design at the Art Institute in Seattle, WA, where she also learned to illustrate books and greeting cards. Shawna created the illustrations for the children’s book, The Grass Maiden, Sacajawea.
Faith V. Halseth and Jane L. Fitzpatrick, a granddaughter/grandmother duo, with instruction from daughter, Jerah R. Fitzpatrick, painted the beautiful watercolors for The Grass Maiden, Sacajawea, many based on photographs they took along the Lewis and Clark trail. Faith is a Senior in High School and Jane is an author, both learning the watercolor craft and putting their talents to work.
